Information and Communication Technology.

* Over the past 3 years I have been the lead ICT teacher at Carlton School. During this time I have developed and inspired staff to use and implement e-learning into their class program. I have written an ICT policy, school overview for e-learning and a implementation plan as to where the school will be heading in the future in regards to e-learning.
* I collobrate with other classes and teachers from around the world through skyping, quad blogging and the travel buddy project.
* I continue to up skill myself in this area so I can effectively integrate E-Learning into my class program and share what I have learnt with others.



Literacy

* I provide a print rich environment
* I provide a balance reading programme, giving children daily opportunities to read to, with and by the teacher.
* Each day my students read to themselves, read with a buddy, practice their writing and have opportunities to develop
their spelling.
* Use a range of resources to motivate and aid students in the development of Literacy skills.
* My Literacy programme is grouped based and aimed at the children's needs and abilities.
* I incorporate phonics and the early words program into my literacy programme.

Physical Education

*For the past year have co-lead health and fitness school wide.
*Have coached extra curricular activities.
*Willingness to assume responsibility for extra curricula activities.
*Have the ability and enthusiasm to cater for all students' needs.
*Have coached school volleyball teams for the past 5 years.

Numeracy

*I have up to date knowledge on how to successfully teach the children using the numeracy programme.
*My Numeracy programme is grouped based and aimed at the children's needs.
*The use of equipment for students for hands on learning.
*ICT is integrated into my maths programme.
*I am a member of the Carlton School maths team.


Science
*I enjoy teaching Science.
*I believe that I provide students with opportunities to explore the nature of science and it's concepts in an enjoyable way and meaningful way. *I organise hands on experiences for students to undertake to investigate science theories.
